As the FX Supervisor at Sinking Ship Entertainment, I led the creation of a variety of complex and dynamic visual effects that played a pivotal role in bringing our project to life. Our work ranged from crafting realistic lava simulations to depicting a dramatic collapse of a sphinx temple, each effect meticulously designed to enhance the storytelling and immerse the audience in the action.
One of the highlights of the project was designing a rock dragon that breathes sand, as well as creating the powerful jet thrusters for the Odd Squad Van. These effects required a blend of technical expertise and creative problem-solving to ensure they looked both spectacular and believable. The result was a series of visually striking scenes that not only supported the narrative but also pushed the boundaries of what could be achieved in visual effects.
